Drake will receive Artist of the Decade Award at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on May 23 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Drake had NINE No.1 albums, the most of any artist during the decade. His 33 top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 in the 2010s also represent the most to hit that mark by any artist.
Billboard’s Artist of the Decade award is based upon the “activity on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart and the Billboard 200 albums tally, as well as social media data and touring revenue from Billboard Boxscore, from Dec. 5, 2009, through Sept. 28, 2019,” per a press release from Billboard.
