ECCHO Live, the Nashville-based nonprofit supporting live event professionals, will hold its 15th annual ECCHO Live Workshop on Nov. 10 at a new, larger venue, Soundcheck at Rock Nashville. Registration for the free event opens Sept. 28.
The workshop, themed EVOLVE this year, brings together professionals from touring, festivals, production, venues and manufacturing for a day of education, career development and networking, according to the organization. The event began in 2011 as Touring Career Workshop, a single-day gathering focused on HR questions for touring staff, and has since grown into a year-round provider of mental health, financial wellness and career resources for the live events industry.
Chris Lisle, co-founder of ECCHO Live, said the anniversary theme reflects both the industry’s changes since 2011 and a look toward what’s next for the organization and the people it serves. Speakers and additional programming details are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
