A music video for “A Million Reasons,” the title track from the late David Allan Coe’s final completed studio album, is set for official release on YouTube November 6. The documentary-style video includes footage from Coe’s 2015 return to Ohio’s Mansfield Reformatory, where he had once been incarcerated, according to the announcement. Coe died on April 29, 2026.

The song was written by Jim “Moose” Brown, Shane Grove, David Wade and Erik Westfall, and according to former Coe co-manager Wade, it began taking shape the day Coe appeared in federal court in Cincinnati in September 2015 on tax-related legal matters. The album “A Million Reasons” was released October 16 via F3 Entertainment/Symphonic.

The album was recorded in 2017 through Average Joes Entertainment, spearheaded by Colt Ford, with production by Noah Gordon and Lex Lipsitz. It remained unreleased until former Coe co-manager Ken Madson acquired the master recordings in 2022. The album has reportedly received playlist placement on Apple Music’s New in Country and the Country Music Association’s Fresh From Nashville playlist, and coverage from outlets including Parade, Whiskey Riff, Saving Country Music, MusicRow and the Akron Beacon Journal, according to the announcement.
