Jack Antonoff verified Thursday (Feb. 28) that the new Bleachers concept album is slowly taking form.
Responding to the fan’s inquiry in regards to the possibility of new music, the “I Wanna Get Better” vocalist tweeted, “ i’m working hard. have a few music that i love and are portion of B3. have this idea inside my head and piecing this together… strange puzzle Zz strange desire etc.”
Since the indie-pop act’s last recording in 2017, Antonoff provides continued building his amazing resume as one of pop music’s most in-demand songwriters and producers, contributing to Lorde’s Melodrama, Taylor Swift’s Popularity and Lana De Rey’s upcoming Grettle Fucking Rockwell. He also won his 4th Grammy Award earlier this month for his act as co-writer on the title a record of St Vincent’s Masseduction.
As for Bleachers, the band most recently led lead single “Alfie’s Song (Not Therefore Typical Love Song)” towards the soundtrack for big-screen homosexual teen romance Love, Simon, which usually Antonoff also executive created.
