Nashville alternative rock band Lombardy has released its new single, “Rotting in Versace,” through East Iris Records / Virgin Music Group. The track addresses economic disparity with a high-energy, humor-laced approach, according to the band.
The release follows a busy touring year for the group, which made its Ryman Auditorium debut last month opening for Starbomb!. Lombardy was also recently added to Spotify’s Fresh Finds: Forward program, which spotlights emerging artists. The band has upcoming dates including Shinedown’s Lunatic Ball in Destin, Florida, and shows in Newport, Kentucky and Nashville.
Formed in 2021 by Jonathan Plevyak and Mike Scott, Lombardy added Seth Rentfrow and Steve Mascarello in 2023. The band released its album Catch A Buzz, Not The Fuzz through East Iris Records / Virgin Music Group following a distribution partnership struck in 2025, and has also entered a sync partnership with Nashville-based Fit Out Media and 444 Sounds.
