Pop singer-songwriter maryjo has released a new single, “Leave Too Soon,” now available on streaming platforms. The song addresses mental health struggles and was written as a message of support to someone close to the singer, according to the announcement.
The release follows the American Idol Season 19 alum’s first headlining tour this summer. Maryjo, 25, signed a major-label deal after her Idol run and released her debut single “Love Fools,” produced by Gordon Mote, along with subsequent tracks “Don’t Call Me” and “Nothing To Lose.” She is now operating independently, and recently had a viral hit with “LIVING ROOM” featuring Mergui.
Her career highlights include tours with Jessica Baio, Alex Warren, JVKE and Knox, festival appearances at Dusk Music Festival, Truckee Music Festival and Warped Tour 2025, and more than 200 million career streams, according to the announcement. She has also built a following of more than 1.3 million on TikTok.
