Nashville alternative rock band Lombardy has released its new single “Bazooka” via East Iris Records / Virgin Music Group. The track uses military and battlefield imagery as a metaphor for romantic conflict, according to the announcement.
The release comes as the band continues an active touring year, including dates in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and Ocean City, Maryland, in mid-September. Lombardy will make its debut at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on September 27, opening for Starbomb!.
Formed in 2021 by Jonathan Plevyak and Mike Scott, Lombardy expanded to a four-piece in 2023 with the addition of Seth Rentfrow and Steve Mascarello. The band previously released the album “Catch A Buzz, Not The Fuzz” through East Iris Records / Virgin Music Group following a 2025 distribution partnership, and has since entered a sync licensing partnership with Nashville-based Fit Out Media and 444 Sounds.
