MESA/Boogie has reissued the 90s Triple Rectifier Standard, a 150-watt guitar amplifier originally introduced in 1992, the company announced. The amp is handcrafted in Petaluma, California, and is available worldwide through authorized dealers, Gibson Garage locations and mesaboogie.com.

The reissue follows the earlier return of the 90s Dual Rectifier Standard and reproduces the original’s visual package, including a black chassis, chrome Speed knobs, Black Bronco vinyl, black leather corners and a polished aluminum Diamond Plate grille. According to the company, the original Triple Rectifier helped shape the sound of high-gain rock and heavy music in the 1990s.

The amp runs six MESA 6L6 power tubes in a 150-watt Class AB power section, with a rear-panel Bias Select switch allowing use of EL34 tubes. It features two independent channels offering Clean, Vintage and Modern high-gain voicings, a switchable tube or silicon diode rectification system, and a BOLD/SPONGY power switch. Andrew Ladner, MESA/Boogie’s marketing manager, said the amp brings back the sound that defined high-gain tone for a generation while meeting the headroom and gain demands of current players.
