Warner Bros. Records (WBR) announced on Wednesday (Jan. 16) Michele Nadelman has been appointed as chief financial officer. She will be based at the label’s Los Angeles headquarters and report to the label’s Co-Chairman and Chief Operating Officer Tom Corson.

Nadelman joins WBR following 12 years at Concord Music, where she was CFO of Recorded Music and senior vice president of Finance for Concord Music Corporate.

“Michele brings a great combination of financial savvy and hands-on label experience to her new post at WBR,” said Corson in a statement. “Not only does she have a stellar track record as a CFO, but her involvement in deal-making and acquisitions across both major companies and indie operations makes her a tremendous addition to our senior management squad. As we explore new ventures and platforms, Michele comes to WBR at just the right time, and I’m delighted to welcome her to the team.”

Added Nadelman: “I’m thrilled to be joining WBR at such an exciting moment in both the label’s and the industry’s evolution. The opportunities on the creative and business fronts are more exciting and diverse than ever, and I’m looking forward to working with the entire team to help make great things happen. I’d like to thank Tom and Aaron for bringing me on board and opening up a new chapter in my career.”

During her time at Concord Music, Nadelman was responsible for the company’s accounting and financial operations, managing more than 30 successful merger and acquisitions, including the merger with Bicycle Music, the acquisition and integration of Imagem, the merger with Village Roadshow Pictures Group and the integration of Paul McCartney/Wings‘ catalog administration.

She previously held management roles in finance and accounting, strategic planning and operations at entertainment and music industry companies, including The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., Gameworks, DMX Music and Lucky Strike Lanes. She began her career almost 30 years ago at Price Waterhouse, is a graduate of UCLA and a California Certified Public Accountant.
