Niall Horan’s Reimagined ‘Flicker Featuring The RTE Orchestra’ Has Arrived

Niall Horan’s post- One Direction career couldn’t have got off to a better start, as the Irishman immediately topped the Billboard 200 with his debut solo album, Flicker. That was 2017. The following year, Horan and his band took a pause from touring for a stint in the studio with the celebrated RTÉ Concert Orchestra.

Those classes formed the core of the one-off TV special, transmit earlier this year, and a new reside album, which drops these days across digital music systems.

Extending across nine-tracks, Flicker Featuring The RTE Orchestra functions eight reworked songs through Flicker , together with the previously-unreleased track “So Long”.

Recording with a 45-piece band was a “dream come true,” Horan explains, and to have the ability to do it at home with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra was “really special. ”

Horan also stopped working creation of his brand new track. He explained, “When recording the release, I could never get the manufacturing right on ‘So Long’. I played it within tour rehearsals one day as well as the band joined in with myself. We ended up making a brand new version which sounds incredible live and has been element of our tour setlist. I love that we can lastly release a version of it at this point.”
