French band Dharma Guns has released a cover of David Bowie’s “I’m Afraid of Americans,” featuring Rami Helin, alongside an official music video. The track previews the band’s five-song Subculture War EP, set for release November 20, with the remaining tracks consisting of original material in a similar vein to the band’s April 2026 album Nightmares and Broken Dreams.

The single marks Dharma Guns’ first release since signing with Australian label Golden Robot Records in August 2026. According to the band, the stripped-down arrangement grew out of a batch of 1990s alternative-rock covers recorded last spring for fun, reworked with just drums, bass and two guitars. Bandmate Rami Helin, who the group says has drawn Bowie comparisons throughout his career, was brought in to contribute to the track.

Dharma Guns describes the accompanying video as a portrayal of contemporary America. The band will play live dates in Oslo and Finland in late November, including stops in Helsinki and Tampere, following its 2024 debut album Ex-Generation Superstars and last year’s follow-up.

Rock band Fuel has released its seventh studio album, “Pendulum,” marking the first full-length project with vocalist Aaron Scott, a former contestant on “The Voice.” The album, led by founding guitarist Carl Bell and Scott, includes the lead single “Want It” along with “Pull Me In,” “Bad at Love,” and a cover of The Eagles’ “Hotel California.”

The multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated band is touring in support of the album, with dates scheduled through December in Pennsylvania, California and Wisconsin, following a September club show at New York’s Silver Lining Lounge, according to the announcement.

Orville Peck opened the Man Turned Mule Tour with shows in Sacramento and Anaheim, kicking off a 19-date North American headline run backing his latest album, Mule, released via Warner Records. The Anaheim stop at House of Blues followed the tour’s opening night at Channel 24 in Sacramento, with support from Abbie Callahan.

The setlist drew from Mule, including “Already Gone,” “Too Little, Too Late,” “Rehab Blues” and “Ring the Bell,” alongside earlier songs such as “Dead of Night” and “Daytona Sand.” According to the announcement, the stage production features a honky-tonk set design with references to Peck’s career and interactive moments involving the opening act and guest appearances.

The tour continues through North America with stops in Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Brooklyn, Toronto and Montreal, concluding Nov. 22 at The Paramount in Huntington, New York. Mule is described by the label as a chronological account of a difficult period in Peck’s life, touching on addiction, sobriety and identity across 13 tracks.

Richie Hawtin has created a new body of work under his Plastikman alias for Pradasphere, a Prada exhibition at the newly opened Prada Galleria in Milan. Rather than a single soundtrack, Hawtin composed separate pieces for each room of the space, with the music designed to shift as visitors move through the building, according to the announcement.

The project extends Hawtin’s long-running collaboration with Prada, which began with him scoring five Prada runway shows starting in 2021 and includes Prada Extends, a music and culture series he co-conceived with the brand that has appeared at Tate Modern in London, Tokyo, Miami and Bangkok. The Milan commission builds on work first done for Pradasphere II in Shanghai in 2023, with material from that show reworked for the new Milan setting, the announcement says.

Prada Galleria, overseen by Miuccia Prada, occupies eight floors inside Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, on the site where Fratelli Prada was founded in 1913, and combines retail, hospitality, art and history.

The Oak Ridge Boys released “Buried Treasures” today via Lightning Rod Records, a 10-song collection of covers the group has long performed but never previously assembled on one album. The project was produced by Anderson East and executive produced and mixed by Dave Cobb, recorded live at Sanctuary Blonde Studio in Nashville.

The album includes William Lee Golden singing lead on Billy Joe Shaver’s “Live Forever,” with an accompanying music video premiering today on Taste of Country. It opens with a cover of Paul Simon’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” a nod to the group’s history backing Simon on “Slip Slidin’ Away” in 1977. Other tracks include “Deep River,” “Stardust,” “What a Wonderful World” with guest vocalist Tim Duncan, and a closing rendition of “You Are So Beautiful” sung by tenor Ben James. The sole new composition, the title track “Buried Treasure,” was written for the project by Aaron Raitiere.

The group is marking the release with back-to-back Grand Ole Opry appearances on October 30 and 31. The album is the Oaks’ second studio release with James, who joined in January 2024; bass singer Aaron Lee McCune joined the touring lineup in 2026 while longtime member Richard Sterban is on temporary leave from touring for health reasons, though he appears on the album.

Jonah Kagen has released his second album, “Eternity of Anything,” via Arista Records. The project’s focus track, “Ain’t Convinced,” incorporates a sample from Fred Again’s “We (Heavy).” Kagen wrote, produced, recorded, engineered and mixed the album himself, working largely in isolation over a two-to-three-month period.

The singer-songwriter has described the album as a shift from his debut, “Sunflowers and Leather,” which he wrote while traveling the country in an Airstream trailer. For the new record, he said he stayed in one place and drew the songs from within rather than from external observation.

According to the announcement, “Sunflowers and Leather” debuted at No. 3 on Spotify’s Top Albums chart, and Kagen’s single “God Needs the Devil” reached No. 1 at U.S. Alternative radio and was certified Gold. The label says his catalog has surpassed 500 million global streams. Kagen celebrated the new album’s release with a pop-up show in New York and continues his fall headline tour with stops including Denver, Salt Lake City, Atlanta and Nashville in November.

Cevin Fisher, the New Jersey-born DJ and producer credited as an influential figure in house music, died on October 29, 2026, following a brief illness with cancer, according to an announcement from his publicist. He was 63.

Born Kevin Fisher in East Orange, New Jersey, he began DJing at 17 with a residency at Club Zanzibar before moving into production and remixing. His remix work included Chaka Khan’s “Love You All My Lifetime” and Quincy Jones’ “I’ll Be Good to You,” the latter of which the announcement says reached number one on the Billboard Dance Chart. He went on to release tracks including “House Is A Feeling,” “Hands On Love,” “The Freaks Come Out” and “(You Got Me) Burning Up,” working with labels such as Strictly Rhythm and Nervous Records.

Fisher built a career spanning more than four decades, performing internationally and earning recognition among peers including Danny Tenaglia, who the announcement says encouraged him early on to pursue solo production. He is survived by his wife, Theresa, his children, stepsons, siblings and extended family.

The Who have released a super deluxe edition of their 1975 album The Who By Numbers to mark its 50th anniversary. The 5CD/1 Blu-ray box set is out now and includes 92 previously unreleased tracks and mixes, new Dolby Atmos, 5.1 and stereo mixes by Pete Townshend, and a 100-page hardback book with photos, memorabilia and essays by Townshend and Who historian Andy Neill. The set is also available as a 3LP edition, 2CD set and limited colored vinyl.

The reissue includes 11 of Townshend’s original demos for the album, tracking sessions recorded at Ramport and Shepperton Studios, early mixes and guide vocals. The Blu-ray features what the label describes as the fullest version to date of a 1976 live recording from Vetch Field in Swansea, Wales, along with previously unreleased audio and video from a Who concert filmed at Metropolitan Stadium in Pontiac, Michigan.

Produced by Glyn Johns, The Who By Numbers originally reached No. 8 on the Billboard chart and No. 7 in the U.K. upon its October 1975 release, with the single Squeeze Box becoming an international hit. Among the newly surfaced material is an early mix of “However Much I Booze” featuring an alternate Pete Townshend vocal and additional instrumental parts not present on the final master.
