A new festival called Conveyor Belt (A Folk Adjacent Festival) will debut Jan. 23, 2027, at The Shrine Social Club in Boise, Idaho, presented by Steve Poltz and Sawtooth Valley Gathering. Poltz will headline the ballroom stage alongside two additional artists to be announced closer to the event.
The festival will also include three In The Round songwriter showcases in the venue’s basement, featuring rotating sets of performers trading songs and stories. Announced participants include David Henry, Travis Ward of Hillfork Noir, Ashley Rose, Noble Holt, Ana Lete and Rochelle Smith, with additional Boise-area and rising independent folk acts to be added.
Sawtooth Valley Gathering founder James Fowler described the all-ages event as a relaxed setting for songwriter collaboration. Doors open at 4 p.m. with music starting at 5 p.m.; presale tickets are currently available.
