Music is vital for people’s lives in such a way that it helps them express feelings and emotions and feel them. It has been an essential part of different cultures and is continuously harnessed and innovated by people in the music industry. Chris Dobry and Stryker Records aim to deliver and produce performances and releases that will keep the flames of music alive.

Stryker Records all started from Chris Dobry with nothing but music skills, will power, and a dream at the moment. It was in 1997 when he started to risk everything and go for his dream. It is mainly influenced by the love for music that he developed when he was a 14-year-old kid with his first instrument: a bass guitar.

Since then, he has been hooked with live music. In high school, he performed shows, and he and a group of friends would set up their school auditorium for the battle of the bands every year. In the late 90s, he was having a conversation with a rapper in Toledo when he had a eureka moment. As the said rapper was talking about a prison in Ohio called Stryker Prison, the word Stryker struck Chris Dobry and realized it had a nice ring to it.

Eventually, Chris decided to coin the name Stryker Records, not necessarily inspired by the prison. Then, he started organizing events such as Battle of the Bands in his hometown, Green Bay, Wisconsin. Followed by multiple releases, he was invited for an interview in their local CBS station, same time as the night of the Grammy Awards. This event was the start of clients being attracted to his company, which led to more funds and artists.

From then on, his journey started to flourish and moved operations to Detroit, Michigan. Shortly after, Euphoria Productions contacted Chris Dobry and gave him and Stryker Records the opportunity to promote large events while working alongside known artists such as Merle Haggard and John Anderson.

Recently, Chris also promoted artists including Saving Abel, Saliva, and Rick Monroe, among others. In partnership with Holly Hutchison, of AnRGirl, they launched Stryker Records recording artists, Jamie Fontaine & the Level. These artists made it to the #20 spot on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Indicator chart, and #7 on the Concrete/Foundations Chart with their single Save Your Life, which was produced by platinum producers Malcolm Springer and Jason Schrick at Universal Studios in Nashville. This release challenged other releases by established artists, like Seether, Marilyn Manson, Volbeat, and Breaking Benjamin, to name a few.

Drew Lines, a fresh and talented artist, signed with Stryker Records and was their first hip-hop artist in the family. Malcolm Springer will produce his singles at The House of Blues Studio at Universal Nashville.

As someone who has an engineering, military, and musical background, undoubtedly, Chris Dobry and Stryker Records will create top of the line music and organize more successful and fun live events for the genres rock, country, and hip-hop.
