Taking Back Sunday has released a 20th anniversary edition of “Louder Now” via Craft Recordings, pairing the original 2006 album with two bonus B-sides, “Brooklyn (If You See Something, Say Something)” and “Sleep.” The tracks are included on an exclusive 7-inch with vinyl copies and added to the deluxe CD. The reissue is available in multiple limited color vinyl pressings through various retailers, including the band’s own store, Craft Recordings, independent shops, Revolver/Alt. Press, and Zia Records/Seasick Records.
“Louder Now,” the band’s first album for Warner Bros. Records, was produced by Eric Valentine and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, according to the announcement, making it the band’s highest-charting release at the time. It was certified Gold within two months of its release and included the single “MakeDamnSure” along with “What’s It Feel Like To Be a Ghost?” and “Liar (It Takes One To Know One).” Kerrang! named it Album of the Year in 2006.
The reissue arrives alongside a run of anniversary live performances, including a full album set at Riot Fest in Chicago and a headline show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The current tour lineup includes guitarist Fred Mascherino, who played on the original “Louder Now” sessions, performing alongside founding members Adam Lazzara, John Nolan and Shaun Cooper plus touring musicians Nathan Cogan Post and Mitch Register.
