Vickie Nauman, founder and CEO of music and technology advisory firm CrossBorderWorks, received the Entrepreneurship award at the 2026 MONDO Innovator Awards, announced October 13 at the Mondo.NYC conference in Brooklyn. The award cites her work connecting music rightsholders with technology companies, developing new business models and licensing frameworks, and creating revenue opportunities for artists and songwriters.

Nauman’s advisory client roster spans gaming and technology firms including Riot Games, Beat Saber, Brain Jar Games’ Dead as Disco and Ubisoft’s Rocksmith, as well as audio brands Bose, Harman and Devialet, according to the announcement. She also advised on mergers including Downtown Music’s acquisitions of CD Baby and FUGA, and in 2025 joined AI company Musical AI as a strategic advisor on rights management and attribution.

The recognition follows Nauman’s Digital Innovator honor at the Music Business Association’s 2026 Bizzy Awards and her inclusion on SPIN’s 2025 list of the most influential people in music, the announcement says. She is scheduled to speak October 16 at Mondo.NYC on a panel addressing commercial models for AI in the music industry.
