Wedding bells are coming soon for 5 Seconds of Summer guitarist Michael Clifford and longtime girlfriend Crystal Leigh. The couple got engaged at the time of an incredibly romantic sunset.
According to Us Weekly, who first reported the news, Clifford got down on one knee at Ungasan Clifftop Resort in Bali on Friday (Jan. 11). The 1975’s “Medicine” played as Leigh entered the duo’s tent in Bali, where the 5SOS star proposed. The same song played when they had their first kiss.
Clifford took to Instagram to share some gorgeous photos from the event. “I was lucky enough to ask the love of my life to marry me in the place it all began for us,” he wrote in the caption. “In the last 3 years she has helped evolve and shape who I am in ways I could never have imagined. I couldn’t ask for anyone better to spend the rest of my life with. I love loving you, Crystal.”
