Sting has added two additional dates at Brooklyn Paramount as part of his “Sting 3.0” tour, expanding the venue run to eight shows, according to Live Nation. The new performances, on Nov. 20 and 21, join previously announced dates at the venue in November.
The additions are part of the tour’s fall North American leg, presented by Cherrytree Music Company and Live Nation, which kicks off in Vancouver on Oct. 5 before moving through Seattle, Minneapolis, Rockford, St. Louis, Nashville, Indianapolis, Montreal, Akron, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Wallingford, Brooklyn and Orlando. Sting is performing as a trio with longtime guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, reworking his catalog in stripped-down arrangements.
The tour follows the release of Sting’s new single “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)” on Cherrytree Music Company/Interscope Records, as well as a new live album, “Sting 3.0 Live,” out digitally, on CD and on vinyl. Tickets for the new Brooklyn dates go on sale to the general public Oct. 2, with a fan club presale beginning Sept. 29.
