Grimm Doza Inks Deal with Too Lost

0

New Jersey-based hip-hop artist and producer GRiMM Doza recently inked an exciting deal with Too Lost, a digital music distributor and publisher, that will now be responsible for distributing and administering the artist’s entire music catalog. The collaboration between the two thriving brands is a promising move as GRiMM Doza is poised to come up with more remarkable projects this year following the release of his album titled GRiMM and Evil in 2020.

As an artist, GRiMM Doza is popularly known for his dark and unique production, a distinct style that is rare in the hip-hop world as the genre is commonly characterized by the flashy lifestyle that many rappers maintain. GRiMM Doza, on the other hand, tends to deviate from this hip-hop norm and shows a different facet of hip-hop. He is best known for his hit songs 01 MANIKIN, I Can’t Fold, Jugg Walk!, Hell on Earth, Fallen Soldier/ Nobody, and Fog in the Mirror, to mention a few.

He has worked with some of the industry’s most impressive producers to bring life to his creative vision. Collaboration is ingrained in the DNA of GRiMM Doza, making him one of the favorites among music producers in the music industry. In 2020, he collaborated with phenomenal instrumentalist SwuM on his single The Blade

Aside from GRiMM and Evil, GRiMM Doza released previous albums that include Say Less, Say Less 3, Spirit World, and Meet the Reaper

As a producer, GRiMM Doza has worked closely with promising artists that include Robb Bank$, Wifiisfuneral, XXXTENTACION, Retch, $uicideBoy$, and Ben Beal, among others. Interestingly, many artists are drawn to his signature moody, dark, and atmospheric production, giving them and their songs a distinguishable identity and quality. These attributes of GRiMM Doza’s work have developed a cult-like following among countless music fans all over the country.

With Too Lost coming in the picture, GRiMM Doza will undeniably become the next music streaming sensation. The digital music distributor is widely known to work closely with independent artists and labels by providing them unlimited distribution worldwide. The company exists mainly to give an equal platform and high quality music distribution at an affordable cost to rising artists who do not have the resources of big music labels to back them up. If anything, Too Short makes worldwide music distribution seamless and very easy.

This year promises to be another productive season in GRiMM Doza’s career, both as an artist and music producer, as he looks forward to establishing more collaborations such as the one he recently did with Lord Fubu for the single New Era. The short song has been well-received by hip-hop fans and critics alike for its cool vibe, making it a perfect jam for small parties or simply a quiet weekend at home.

As GRiMM Doza elevates his music this 2021, hip-hop fans can expect awe-inspiring records to come out containing songs that will continue to achieve groundbreaking feats in various streaming platforms.

Music can serve as many functions as the musician or the listener wants it to. It can be meaningless background music, a form of expression for thoughts and emotions, and another method of storytelling. For Southern trap artist and Armed Forces Veteran Alabama Nick, music is a passion and a way to bring attention to the lesser-known high-quality rap game that Alabama possesses.

People say that successful people have visionthey enjoy a position of triumph precisely because they keep their eyes on their ultimate goal. Successful people know what they want right from the start, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to realize that vision. Still, the southern trap artist knows the implications of such a huge goal, and he is confident that he has what it takes to achieve it.

Alabama Nick has considered himself to be an artist since the day he was born, but it was only recently that he decided to pour his effort into establishing a career in music. “I have a unique voice, flow, and look,” he says, “I have enough talent to be heard, taken seriously, and achieve major success in the music industry.”

Upcoming Artist Lasaylo Aims to Spread Happiness with Electronic Dance Music

0

Music evolves with the times. With the emergence of technology came a new genre called Electronic Dance Music (EDM), captivating parties, nightclubs, and festivals across the globe. Upcoming artist Lasaylo aims to dominate the EDM scene and strives to help people find peace in his music.

Born Bennett Mueller, Lasaylo began making electronic dance music in his bedroom at 19. Upon realizing his passion and talent for the genre, he took his game to a higher league by investing in his own studio. EDM allowed the artist to rekindle his passion for music fully and brought him to see the bigger picture in life. Starting off 2021 with a bang, Lasaylo will be launching many of his creations for the world to listen to.

For as long as he can remember, Lasaylo has been passionate about music. His journey began at age 4 as he took his first piano lesson. However, the artist admits that he is not as engaged with the piano as the other world masters. So he pivoted his attention and energy into sports. With his newfound love, it seemed as if the music was lost in his life forever, but an opportunity to join the middle school band by playing the trombone piqued his interest in music again.

Finding his way back, Lasaylo decided further to explore his talent and natural gifts in music. The artist began joining musical theater and did more  singing. Eventually, he ended up performing with an all-state choir. “That was a blessing, truly. Next though, I went to a concert where an artist named SVDDEN DEATH performed. He blew me away and I fell in love with electronic dance music,” Lasaylo said.

Seeing how audiences got excited with the music in the concert got Lasaylo wondering: “How do these artists do this? How do they make people so happy?” Learning from other EDM artists and aiming for the same reception from his listeners, the artist envisioned creating music that sweeps people off their feet.

Wasting no time, Lasaylo immediately got to work on his laptop to produce his own sound, and the rest was history. Through EDM, the artist is able to let the world hear what he has to say. He makes music for people who are open to new ideas and enjoy music that deviates from traditional instruments and mediums. “I’m very grateful for everyone that has supported me thus far, and I’m excited to grow the support and put out my support for others via my music,” said the artist.

Unlike others in the scene, Lasaylo does not believe in competing. Instead, he expressed that the EDM scene is far too wide just for a single artist to win. “I’m really honest, and honestly, I sometimes feel like a lot of people could do what I can do. They just need to put in the work. I guess what separates me is the difference between talent and ambition,” said Lasaylo. With support and appreciation of what others can do, he said that everyone with a vision could succeed.

Entrepreneur DJ Chi Oriji Launches Own Music Label to Guide Aspiring Artists

0

Passionate disc jockey and serial entrepreneur DJ Chi Oriji understands what it takes to be noticed in the music industry as a serious and promising artist. Quite often, these standards rob aspiring artists of the opportunity to be appreciated and recognized for their unique brand of music. Oriji is changing the industry standard by formally launching his independent music label, Orijinal Music Group, which is specially designed to discover the world’s greatest talents and help them reach their dreams.

The company is founded on the belief that all artists should be given the opportunity to remain authentic in their unique brand of music and be original in an industry dominated by mainstream pop culture. Regardless of the genre of music that they are inclined to develop, DJ Chi Oriji wants Orijinal Music Group to be a safe haven where rising music stars can produce their songs and develop their craft further. The committed founder is also determined to help artists grow holistically by being mindful of their overall well-being.

Orijinal Music Group is designed to empower artists to be in control of their art form by giving them the tools and resources they need to master the different aspects of the music industry. By training them to understand the process involved, from the production of their songs to the promotion aspect, DJ Chi Oriji is helping them realize their full potential and be ready for the industry’s real-life challenges.

“There is so much talent out there but not enough companies who are looking out for the best interests of their artists. I believe in being as transparent as possible with anyone I work with. I want the people I work with to know exactly how much work it takes to become successful in the music industry. These principles motivated me to create a culture for growth not only as an artist but as a human being,” DJ Chi Oriji shares.

DJ Chi Oriji originally launched Orijinal Music Group in 2017 alongside his brother, Ebube. For the past years prior to its official launching, the Oriji brothers have been involved in artist management, sound engineering, music production, and global event curation. They have been privileged to sign artists Che and Jaey London. Investing their time and resources on Che proved to be very rewarding as he is now a 2020 Grammy nominee for his songwriting in Maxi Priest’s album titled It All Comes Back to Love.

DJ Chi Oriji launched his professional DJ career in 2013 and has since become one of the world’s most in-demand DJs both in the local and global music scenes. Mischiff Dominates the Music Industry With a Debut of Original Music

Music plays a crucial role in people’s lives. It has the power to trigger a range of emotions. And as years pass by, music has changed and is still continually evolving. With this being said, people expect artists to adapt to these changes. However, when it comes to original music, some of the classics will always remain untouchable. Mischiff is a talented man who brings a debut of original music to the music industry as a disc jockey.

Growing up, Mischiff has always found himself drawn to activities that require effort learning. In 2012, Mischiff was 15 years old and noticed a strong interest in being a disc jockey. This intense interest grew into a full-blown passion that demanded another ambition to fulfill. Witnessing the late DJ AM’s exemplary works has paved the way for Mischiff to take his new-found interest to another level.

It took several months until Mischiff found himself ready for the role. After finding out his potential and working more on his dreams, he got the stage name “DJ Mischiff” and continue using it up to the time being. This name was inspired by the nickname “Malito,” a Spanish word for a mischievous child. The name itself is so deep, sparking a mixture of interests for the people to wonder.

Looking back, Mischiff first showcased his talent at his school dance in Freeport, New York. He performed that night so well that his performance has won many people’s hearts in his school. Since then, his music career continues to flourish in many ways. Aiming to learn more about music and its complexities, Mischiff decided to invest in his music career and studied more about music production.

Years went by, and his passion continues to ignite every part of his being; Mischiff explored every aspect of music. However, he did not let his whole world revolve around it. Instead, Mischiff made sure he learned other skills outside the music industry. For Mischiff, it was a survival tactic since he knows how replaceable artists are and may lose their spark over the years. With these things being said, Mischiff also invested in himself by learning about photography, journalism, and videography. Experimenting with music may be his way of life, but Mischiff knows that it takes a strong man to become a multi-talented artist, and he wants to be more assertive on that part.

Years from now, people will still enjoy his music, his chosen beats, and the high and low pitches he mixes. He still sees himself being a successful artist, but not focusing on one genre alone. Mischiff wants to explore the industry. Unlike other artists of today, Mischiff always makes sure his passion does not burn out. He does not give up on things quickly, and with this right mindset, he will take himself into different places. As a veteran who served in the New York Army National Guard, Mischiff embodies all the qualities needed for a professional artist to thrive in a competitive industry.

$ir Mike Changing the State of Hip-Hop with His Sound

0

$ir Mike has embodied hip-hop music as a part of him for more than eight years. Coming from the East Coast and moving to Miami, Florida, where he now lives, $ir Mike has made waves through his performance at shows, festivals, and college parties all over the East Coast. His unique style fused with underworld vibes and introspection has set him apart as an artist and has kept him relatable and relevant up till date. He does not want to sound like many new-school hip-hop acts. He is sticking to the original, raw hip-hop sound that got hip-hop widely spread in the first place.

$ir Mike’s early musical influences include Tupac and Johnny Cash. And since he decided to go full-fledged into his music, he created his music label imprint called 333 Record Label. This has put him in the driving seat of creating, maintaining, and managing his content. He released a mixtape recently, which he named “Dreadication,” a collection of remixed songs.

He is passionate about changing the state of hip-hop music in the world, and in his words, “In an overly saturated market with not such dope music, you can find back to back originals, remixes, and features all here. I am all about bringing that good old hip-hop flavor.”

$ir Mike is also an ardent skater who enjoys skating more than anything else. He aims to appeal to a wide range of audiences ranging from felons to religious folks and all types of people from different walks of life. “Felons seem to rock with the music more than priests, but I got a few songs for the Most High,” he says.

To give his music some life, he branched into designing and creating merchandise goods bearing meaningful messages that people can see and think about his brand. Earlier in his career, he didn’t pay much attention to promoting his songs because he wanted to stay off the spotlight. But now, seeing what hip-hop looks like in the world today, he is ready to be a part of the much-needed change, and if possible, spearhead that change.

$ir Mike is one of the few artists who dedicate time to songwriting, and he spent years developing that aspect of the art while building a brand that represents the music. More than eight years later, he still has lofty ambitions for himself and his record label. “More artists are going to join 333 Records, and in five years, I’d like to see us going on tour all over the world and putting out more music,” he says.

$ir Mike’s goal is to be well-recognized and respected in the hip-hop world. He also intends to make a lot of money from music that will help him invest in other endeavors and set his family up for life.” Music means everything to him, and that is why he is doing everything possible to get his music to mainstream hip-hop audiences. His lyrics bear striking messages that highlight society’s current realities, and he doesn’t intend to stop anytime soon.

Recognizing the value in empowering listeners to challenge their fears at such a precarious time, their actions have introduced hope to millions of music fans all over the world.

The Collective Conscious is made up of Jesse Solomon Schwartz, better known as YngSolomon, and Godofredo Ceja, who goes by The7thLetter. The two first crossed paths on the basketball court, attending rival high schools but didn’t become friends until 2017 when they synchronistically met in line to The Emerald Cup. They share interests in music, cannabis and spirituality, specifically Nichiren Buddhism. The goal of this spiritual practice is to create world peace by helping individuals achieve their Highest potential thru chanting Nam Myo Renge Kyo.

YngSolomon and 7thLetter have been doing just that. To promote their debut album, they decided to hop on an RV and do a west coast tour starting on the Golden Gate Bridge then make stops in Santa Monica, Venice Beach, San Diego, and Phoenix. Throughout the tour they filmed their California Days music video, which has generated over 2 million views on YouTube. The video shows segments performing atop their RV in busy intersections of San Diego as well as street performances in front of Venice Beach Skate Park.

Upon completing the tour, YngSolomon began organizing pop-up shows in the north bay to provide an opportunity to connect through live music while creating a platform for aspiring artists. The second round of their album promotion reached Ocean Beach, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, the Russian River, and Santa Rosa. “Go for your dreams. What everyone else thinks is none of your business. Do what you love. Take one step toward your goal every day, no matter how small. If you miss a day, that’s okay. The fact that it’s on your mind is progress. Keep moving forward,” YngSolomon shared.

Their ultimate dream is to inspire on a global scale, selling out arenas and speaking at transformational events, influencing the world to embrace peace, compassion, and courage by being the change.

Rising Rapper JD Is the Next Big Thing in the Music Industry

0

With sheer grit and determination, gifted rapper JD is making a name for himself in the music industry, writing songs that reveal raw emotions such as pain, loss, hope, and triumph over life’s biggest challenges. Born Jeremy Donahue, JD was influenced by a wide array of music genres growing up. His music influences include Motley Crew, Garth Brooks, Beastie Boys, Van Halen, Brooks and Dunn, Tupac, and Ted Nugent, among others. As he combines these musical influences to create a unique sound, JD has been received by music fans with great enthusiasm and admiration, making him the next big thing in the ever-competitive music industry.

For JD, however, being a rapper is not about competing with other artists. The goal-oriented rapper is all about competing with himself, making sure to do better than his last song or last performance. Taking pride in his commendable work ethic, JD believes that he will achieve his dreams by working diligently, honestly, and passionately.

Best known for his outspoken and no-nonsense personality, JD is all about getting things done. When he sets his mind on something, he invests his emotions, hours, and energy on making it come to pass. Whether it’s a financial, emotional, or mental goal, JD works hard to make it happen.

“The past couple of years I’ve been really focusing on being a better writer, better lyricist, and bringing my own style of music to all the streaming platforms they have out there. Some say it’s southern hip-hop, other country rap. Whatever you choose to call it in the end, I feel like I’m just telling my life story the only way I know how,” JD explains.

Inspired by his personal family story, the struggles his parents went through, rising from poverty, and the story of every underdog who has had to fight their way out of a difficult life, JD decided to tell stories many people need to hear through his music. Staying true to his emotions and character is his way of creating a genuine brand that people can easily connect with. For the rising rapper, he believes that music lovers always look for ones who are authentic, who are not afraid to reveal their emotions and pains regardless of what other people will say.

As music has been one of the constant things in JD’s life, he cannot imagine himself moving forward without it. He is nothing but grateful for the many feats he has achieved so far, both and small, and will continue to pursue greater things to promote his music. Sharing his life story through his songs is his way of inspiring others to push harder even when times get tough, to never give up, and believe that beyond every storm is another sunny day waiting to happen. He looks forward to sharing his music on even bigger platforms, performing in front of large audiences, and creating more music that will change lives.

In the end, when people look at him, JD wants people to see someone who fought hard to get to where he is today, someone who chose to live above the pains of his past and create a future full of hope and promise. For JD, life now is all about making the most of precious hours and using it wisely to impact the lives of others.
